HOW-TO STEPS

    1

Divide a six point star section on the top part of the head.

Connect each point of the star to create six diamond sections.

    2

Apply color to the dark section first, either using Color Touch or Koleston Perfect, then separate with foil.

Apply the lightest color to the six diamond sections using Koleston Perfect or Blondor. If lightener (Blondor) is used toning will be required later.

Finally, apply the medium color to the star section.

Section the front perimeter fringe and sides, then comb the hair forward.

Start in the fringe area by cutting short upside down V sections right above the eye.

    Continue on the other side.

Cut the sides round, leaving out longer strands of hair along the side of face.

Cut the neckline straight across and square. This forces the length on each corner to be a bit longer and softer.

In the top crown, cut your guideline about 3 inches long.

Continue throughout the front and into the sides. Using the initial guide in the crown, part from the crown to the front fringe and continue with the same 90-degree holding angle. Continue around the whole front area taking pie sections and cutting at a 90-degree angle.
