Midlength, Slide-Cut Mullet

    Before

    Create a section from the recession area to the back of the ear on both sides, and leave out the fringe. Use a zigzag parting for softness throughout the cut, and clip the hair out of way.

    In the center-back, take vertical sections and elevate the hair to 145 degrees. Use an open-shear, slicing technique to create movement.

    Then, elevate the fringe and cut slices horizontally for a deeper point-cut.

    Take a horizontal section from crown to recession, and cut horizontally toward the face. Cut with an open-shear, slide-cutting technique to create channels and movement.

    Then, slide-cut from the crown to nape using vertical sections.
