HOW-TO STEPS

  • 1

Use the 1.5-inch Dura CHI Curling Iron to create a loosely curled foundation. The titanium-infused ceramic barrel heats the hair quickly while locking in moisture.

  • 2

Part the hair from the top of the crown to just behind the ears and lightly backbrush the top of the back section.

  • 3

Smooth the hair back and gather into a low pony just behind the ear, securing with an elastic band and bobby pins. Use CHI Infra Texture Spray to give the hair a workable hold.

  • 4

Take the section of hair from the opposite side first. Twist loosely and secure at the base of the ponytail with a bobby pin. Do the same on the other side, making sure to smooth the bang area.

  • 5

Divide the ponytail into two sections. Divide the first into two more sections and twist around each other.

  • 6

Holding the ends, push the twisted hair up toward the base and secure in place with bobby pins. Repeat with the second section of hair.

  • 7

Add some extra bobby pins where needed and finish with a light application of CHI Infra Texture Spray.
