Each year, as Halloween costumes become increasingly elaborate, clients have begun to invest more and more in their end-of-October parties—and this includes hair and makeup created by you! This year, it’s all about intricate animal makeup, particularly of the feline variety, says Richard Parrot, President of Halloween Hot Spot Ricky’s NYC. “This will be the biggest year we’ve seen for makeup,” predicts Richard. “Years ago, you could throw on a black cat suit and a pair of ears and say, ‘Great, I’m a cat.’ Now, people want serious makeup to complete the costume.”

Need some inspiration to help your clients prepare for this All Hallows’ Eve? Start here, with this jungle cat step-by step-from BTC member Jessica Hernandez.
