  Take a section from the right side of the head, begin twisting the section to the left.

  Spray with a texture spray before pinching and pulling to expand, then pin in place.

  Repeat on the other side of the head, this time twisting to the right.

  Continue down the head. If desired, curl the ponytail and add a festive bow or other accessory.
