  Section the head into quadrants. Beginning at the back of the crown, apply Formula A to new growth, working in 1/8-inch sections. Complete all quadrants, rinse with cool, tepid water and perform a L’ANZA Healing Hair Ultimate Treatment Service.

  Apply Formula B to the scalp area and Formula C to midlengths and ends. Blend the two toner formulas at the meeting points using a side-feathering technique. Rinse with cool-to-tepid water; cleanse and condition with L’ANZA Healing Haircare Keratin Healing Oil Shampoo and Conditioner.

  Begin in Zone 1, with fingers resting on the back, creating a solid line. Keep the client’s head upright and stand directly in front of the section at all times. Keep the tension consistent throughout.

  Lift a ½-inch vertical section straight out at the center back and create the guideline. This will be a traveling guide for this section. Work to each side. When you reach the corner of the nape hairline, begin overdirecting to the previous section.

  Create a triangular section from the forward round of the head to the recession area on each side. Place two fingers on the bridge of the nose and create a solid fringe line, cutting below the fingers.

  Release Zones 2 and 3, create vertical subsections, lift each one straight up and point-cut parallel to the floor. Work around the head, using a traveling guide.

  Combine 1 pump of L’ANZA Healing Haircare Keratin Healing Oil Combing Cream with Keratin Healing Oil Cream Gel, and apply to damp hair. Blow-dry the hair on-base using a round brush.

  Use a large Marcel iron to curl the hair on-base in order to create volume. Clip each section loosely to secure.
