HOW-TO STEPS

  • 1

Spray L’ANZA Color Attach Step 1 in the hair and leave in. Create a curved parting across the front hairline from ear to ear and isolate this section. Beginning in the nape and working with thin sections through the crown and sides, prelighten the midlengths and ends using Formula A. Be sure to stay at least 1 to 2 inches away from the scalp.

  • 2

Drop the isolated section and using flexible perm rods or toe separators, balayage Formula B through the midlengths and ends in an erratic pattern. This is a cool trick Leah uses on curly hair—you can paint lightener on the rod, then wrap the curl around it to lift from within. Process at room temperature until you achieve a Level 7.

  • 3

Cleanse with Healing ColorCare Shampoo, then spray Color Attach Step 2 into towel-dried hair and comb through.

  • 4

Repeat previous sectioning. Place Formula D on the hair in the isolated top section near the front hairline.

  • 5

Place Formula C on the remainder of the hair and process at room temperature for 30 minutes.  Then rinse, and cleanse with Healing ColorCare Shampoo.

  • 6

Apply Keratin Healing Oil Emergency Service Part A. Cover the hair with a plastic cap and place under heat for 10 minutes, then rinse. On damp hair, apply Keratin Healing Oil Emergency Service Part A.

  • 7

Then, apply Keratin Healing Oil Emergency Service Part B, comb through and leave in.
