TIGI Catwalk® FriskyTM is applied to wet hair as a cutting lotion.
The hair is sectioned into two using an off center triangle from the left side of the crown out to each recession area.
Starting with a central vertical section layers are point cut and curved in the crown area.
Show Steps
2
The layers are continued down into the nape, curving with the shape of the head.
Using the crown as a pivot, sections are continued around this side at the back to the top of the ear.
A diagonal forward section is now taken from the crown to the front hairline and the layers texturized by point cutting.
These diagonal sections are continued around the front until the original parting is reached.
Show Steps
3
Exactly the same sectioning pattern is now used on the other side of the head.
The front hairline on both sides is now cut using a tight graduation point cut following the curve of the hairline.
A disconnected section is now cut in the top hairline at one-finger depth of graduation.
The next section is elevated up from the head to maintain more length.
Show Steps
4
The top is now point cut to reduce weight but maintain some length.
Personalizing is used around the perimeter of the cut by point cutting.
Free-hand slicing is used through the longer top area to create maximum texture.
TIGI® Bed Head® Boy ToysTM is applied.
