If you needed any more convincing of the MASSIVE effect haircolor has on complexion and skin tone, check out this transformation from Jimmy Hilton (@jimmyhilton), a stylist at Christophe Salon in Newport Beach, Calif. Jimmy spent just two hours giving his client a gorgeous new red color that left us speechless! Luckily, the results speak for themselves.

“She came to me with a very drab color that exposed the redness in her skin,” shares Jimmy. “When I saw her, I thought copper, which would tone down the redness and bring out the pink in her skin, which is more flattering.”

“This is proof that you don’t always have to resort to bleach…you can customize a client’s look with just color! All she did was put on light makeup—nothing crazy—and the color did the rest.”
