Often curls end up frizzy and dry and lack that extra oomph. According to ColorProof™ Founder and Celebrity Stylist Jim Markham, the key to perfect curls is to never disturb the cuticle. With this tip in mind, here is his recipe for achieving curls that rock all day and all night!

Prep hair using ColorProof TruCurl™ Curl Perfecting Shampoo and Condition, to keep the curl pattern intact and to protect the color.

Next, create a custom fusion of ColorProof TruCurl Curl Perfecting Crème and TruCurl Anti-Frizz Oil. Emulsify them together in the palms of your hands and apply throughout damp hair to provide separation, shape and control.

Diffuse the hair until completely dry.

For added curl definition, wrap 1-inch sections of hair around a closed barrel curling iron, alternating between small, and very-small barreled irons in both clockwise and counter clockwise directions to create further depth to the style.
