How-To: Salma Hayek’s Allure Cover Look

close formula

What’s sexier than Salma Hayek topless on the cover of Allure Magazine? …yeah, we couldn’t think of anything either. So naturally, we had to track down the stylist behind her gorgeous and sensual look. That stylist would be Garren, who, inspired by the legendary Sophia Loren, styled Salma for the August 2015 cover. To relax Salma’s natural curls, Garren shampooed her hair with R+Co ANALOG Cleansing Foam Conditioner. Here’s how he created the rest of the look.

HOW-TO STEPS

1

Prep wet hair with R+Co MOTORCYCLE Flexible Gel (coming soon) and diffuse-dry to help minimize any curls.

2

Once the hair is dry, place it in medium-sized electric rollers, coiling the hair like you would around a curling wand. After allowing the hair to cool for 30 minutes, use your fingers to rake R+Co TINSEL Smoothing Oil through the hair.

3

Work R+Co BADLANDS Dry Shampoo Paste into your hands and then into the hair, forming it into a French twist. Pin the twist up in the back of the head. Carefully pull out pieces from the back to create a sensual, undone look.
