Actress and style icon Lupita Nyong’o literally looked like an Oscars award at the 90th annual Academy Awards. I mean that gold Versace dress is seriously EVERYTHING—but the real statement-maker was her traditional Rwandan hairstyle embellished with metallic thread.

 

“Lupita’s look was inspired by images of Amasunzu hairstyles, which are traditional to Rwandan culture,” shares Lupita’s stylist Vernon François (@vernonfrancois). HOW-TO STEPS
