There is nothing we love more than a retro ponytail. So when Lizzo aka @lizzobeeating walked the American Music Awards red carpet rocking an “I Dream of Jeannie” inspired ‘do (and her tiny purse!) we had to know how to recreate it! Celebrity stylist Shelby Swain (@theshelbyswain) broke down how she used ghd professional® tools to create this fun, flirty style.

HOW-TO STEPS

Blow dry the hair using the ghd air® hair dryer and ghd paddle brush.

Bring all of the hair up into a sleek ponytail and secure with elastic. Flat iron the pony using the ghd platinum+ styler to get the hair super straight and add shine.

Then, use the ghd curve® soft curl iron to flip the ends of the ponytail for a “flirty final touch.”
