Old Hollywood glamour never goes out of style, which is why celebrity stylist Ryan Trygstad for S Factor by TIGI created a seriously elegant, Rita Hayworth-inspired look for Jessica Chastain as she graced the Met Gala red carpet. “We were inspired by screen siren Rita Hayworth and the serious glamour of her era,” notes Ryan. “I researched how Rita set her hair back in the ’40s and drew inspiration for the look from there.” The finished look is a cross between a side-swept updo and faux bob that pairs perfectly with Jessica’s shimmery gold dress. HOW-TO STEPS

Prep hair with S Factor by TIGI Stunning Volume Shampoo and Conditioner.

Wrap small sections of hair around a 1.5-inch barrel curling iron, curling hair inward toward the face, then pin back one side of the hair behind the same ear.
