Everyone’s favorite mean girl with the spot-on ESPN lit up the 2018 Met Gala with her vibrant, floor-length Prada gown, dainty tiara and signature golden hair. But Amanda Seyfried’s angelic goddess theme wasn’t complete until celebrity stylist Christian Wood (@cwoodhair) transformed her long locks into high-volume, center-parted waves. HOW-TO STEPS

1

Start by applying Wella Professionals EIMI Extra Volume Mousse to wet hair from the midlengths to the ends. Then, using the ghd air® Hairdryer, tip the head upside down and dry the hair completely. “Drying upside down helps create tons of volume and encourages natural texture and waves,” shares Christian.

2

Then, use a pintail comb and add a sharp middle part.

3

Once the hair is completely dry, start at the nape and spray Wella Professionals EIMI Stay Firm Hairspray section by section. Then, brush through the hair.

4

Next, wrap the hair around the ghd curve® soft curl iron, hold for 10 sections and release, leaving each section alone to cool.

5

Once the hair is cooled, spray Wella Professionals EIMI Dry Me throughout the entire head to add texture and fullness to the waves. Then, gently brush out the waves.

6

Then, start at the nape and backcomb the waves section by section to create softness and volume.

7

Spray each section with EIMI Stay Firm Hairspray for long-lasting results, then use your fingers to shake out any remaining waves to create loose, soft texture.
