To create a bun in the center-back and just above the occipital bone, start by directing all of the hair toward that area and leaving the front section out to create a dramatic swoop. Then, pull out two small pieces in front of each ear to frame the face.

Apply Paul Mitchell Hot Off The Press Hairspray to a ghd Oval Dressing Brush and smooth the hair toward the back of the head, reapplying after every couple of strokes. 

Then, secure with a bungee hair tie and twist the ponytail back onto itself clockwise. Secure the bun with hair pins and lock in the style with hairspray.

For a glassy-sheen finish, apply one coat of Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Omega+ Anti-Frizz Dry Oil Mist.
