Our salon owner just messaged us, he is hoping for relief in the government package,he said to use are vacation weeks and what ever aid he got after his exspense he would pass along to us ,not really sure what that means but I will take anything at this point. Someone on this thread told her renters to file for unemployment,I didn’t think that was possible for self employed (renters)?

What if your salon is not mandated to close and booth renters are choosing to not come into to work or do clients. Since our county is only on a voluntary shelter in place along with TDLR not posting that we have to close. What should a salon owner do as far as charging the weekly lease? Especially since we are a new salon & the salon can not afford for the lease to just not be paid?
