COLOR FORMULAS

  • Starting Level:

    6

  • Formula A (lightener):

2 scoops Paul Mitchell SynchroLift + 2 oz. 20-volume Cream Developer

  • Formula B (toner):

1 oz. Paul Mitchell UTP Ultra Toner Platinum Blonde + equal parts Paul Mitchell UTA Ultra Toner Ash + ¼ oz. Paul Mitchell UTNB Ultra Toner Neutral Blonde + 2 ¼ oz. 10-volume Cream Developer

  • Formula C:

2 oz. Paul Mitchell Flash Finish Ultra Violet + equal parts 5-volume Cream Developer

FORMULA STEPS

1. Retouch with Formula A using the Barbie Foil (aka Babylights) Technique. “I love using this technique on my blondes to get the quickest result,” says Olesia. Simply cut foils into a few, smaller pieces and place each foil on sections of hair to be lightened. “Paul Mitchell lighteners don’t require heat, but by incubating each section like this, it not only keeps the color neat and separated, but it provides just enough heat from the head for a faster, more even result.”

2. Process for 45 minutes, until lifted to a Level 9, then shampoo with Paul Mitchell Color Protect® Post Color Shampoo

3. Apply Formula B and process for 10 minutes. Shampoo with Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Moisturizing Lather Shampoo and towel-blot.

4. Apply Formula C and process for 5 minutes.

5. Rinse, then use as a shampoo. Condition with Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Keratin Cream Rinse.
