FORMULA STEPS

1. Create a horseshoe section along the parietal ridge that includes the top of occipital and clip for control. This section will remain uncolored. Divide the remaining hair into 4 quadrants.

2. Starting in the back, working from the bottom up, take a horizontal slice and place on foil. Using a side brushing technique, apply Formula A from approximately 2 inches from scalp to midlengths. With dry brush, feather formula upwards towards the scalp to avoid any harsh lines.

3. Next, apply Formula B from midlengths to ends utilizing a side brushing technique. Using a dry brush, feather the two formulas together to blend and diffuse color. Repeat application in this manner until section is complete.

4. Repeat formulas and application in all quadrants until complete, process accordingly. Rinse thoroughly. Cleanse and condition using your favorite Matrix Biolage or Total Results™ shampoo and conditioner.
