1. Section the hair into four quadrants for a clean application.
2. Starting in the back, apply Formula A to regrowth. Do not overlap.
3. Process for 45 to 60 minutes at room temperature (timing will vary with each client).
4. Once the re-growth area has reached a pale yellow, rinse with cool water. Lightly shampoo with Unite Moisturizing Shampoo, and towel-dry.
5. Apply Formula B to the freshly-lightened area, starting at the nape of the neck and working your way up the head.
6. Process for about 7 minutes, or until you see a lavender hue. Pull through midshaft and ends, and process for about 3 more minutes. Rinse with cool water.
7. Apply Olaplex Bond Perfector No.2, and process for 5 to 10 minutes. Shampoo with Unite Blonda Toning Shampoo, then condition.
8. Apply Unite 7SECONDS Leave in Detangler, comb through and then apply Unite LAZER Straight. Blow-dry and style as desired. Use Unite TEXTURIZA Spray for a volumized, tousled look.
Marissa’s tips for keeping her blondes bright and beautiful
• “Timing is everything when trying to achieve the perfect, solid blonde,” says Marissa. “Rinse too soon and you’ll be fighting any warmth left. Always keep an eye on the hair while it’s processing, and rinse when there’s just a slight trace of yellow.”
• To maintain a fresh, white blonde and avoid banding, Marissa highly recommends her clients return for touch-ups every four weeks.
