1. Before
2. Start applying Formula A using a double-sided hair painting technique to ensure proper saturation and secure each section in a foil to maximize lift.
3. Continue with a full head balayage application. Once the foils are complete, process until you reach the desired level of lift. Then, rinse and wash.
4. Apply Formula B all over. Instead of toning with a demi-permanent color, Amy applied Schwarzkopf Professional’s all-new tbh Permanent Hair Color. Here’s why she made this formulating choice:
- While tbh is a permanent color, it can also be used as a gloss or refresh service for rich, natural shine. Amy applied tbh as a gloss, mixing the golden base color and a gel developer with a 1:2 ratio for more pastel results.
- Since her client has golden tones in her skin, she wanted to create a bright and believable blonde that would enhance her natural features.
- The creme color features grape seed oil that creates beautiful shine and softness.
5. Process, rinse and wash. Style loose, face-framing waves that will enhance the dimensional color.
