Got a pixie-loving client who’s looking to twinkle like a star? This sparkly silver sky color is perfect! Colorist Joseph Cuozzo (@joseph_cuozzo), a Master Color Expert with Wella Professionals and co-owner of Cuozzo Studio for Hair in Madison, N.J. and Oranjestad, Aruba, gave us the details: “This client has experienced some scalp sensitivity during past applications, so we chose Wella BLONDOR Cream Lightener for its gentle lifting process and Wella’s INNOSENSE line to tone,” he shares. “INNOSENSE does not contain the molecules pPD and pTD, so it’s great for clients who have scalp sensitivity but still want a full spectrum of colors.” Here’s how he did it!

COLOR FORMULAS

  • Starting Level:

    Level 4

  • Formula A (pre-lightener):

    BLONDOR Soft Blonde Cream + 20-volume developer

  • Formula B (toner):

    1 part Koleston Perfect INNOSENSE 10/88 + 2 parts Koleston Perfect Pastel Crème Developer

FORMULA STEPS

1. Prelighten with Formula A two times to reach a Level 10.

2. Shampoo with Brilliance Shampoo, followed by Service Colour Post-Treatment.

3. Rough-dry hair and tone with Formula B at the root.

4. Add Perfect INNOSENSE 0/0 and more Perfect Pastel Crème Developer to Formula B and apply to midlengths and ends.

5. Comb through to create a color melt from roots to ends.

6. Place a few foils with Formula B in the top front panel, process for 20 minutes and rinse.
