So when Julia Salemi’s (@hairbyjulias) client came back for her follow-up appointment, Julia made sure to give her the vibrant purple hue she dreamed of. The result? FORMULA STEPS

1. During the first session, remove old color by applying Formula A.

 

2. Then, prelighten with Formula B.

 

3. Freehand-paint Formula C throughout her entire head. Rinse, then style as desired.

4. At the second session, skip prelightening to maintain the integrity of her hair. Alternate applying Formulas D and E on the midlengths. “I used her natural new growth for the root color because she has a beautiful dark brown color,” shares Julia.

 

5. Then, apply Formula F on the ends.
