SPOTTED: Fresh off the Alexander Wang FW18 runway, behindthechair.com caught this muted, lived-in red created and styled by Redken Global Color Creative Director Josh Wood and Redken Global Creative Director Guido Palau. It was Alexander Wang’s last show ever at NYFW so we were stoked to be backstage for all the action and to see some fun, funky color hitting the catwalk.   • Formula A:

    2 oz. Redken Shades EQ 08C + 2 oz. Redken Shades EQ Processing Solution

  • Formula B:

    2 oz. Redken Color Gel Lacquers 7RO + 10-volume developer

  • Formula C:

    2 oz. Redken City Beats West Village Sunset + 0.5 oz. City Beats Big Apple Red

FORMULA STEPS

1. Apply Formula A all over on dry hair. Let process for 20 minutes, then shampoo and condition with Redken Color Extend Magnetics.

 

2. Next apply Formula B all over and process for 30 minutes at room temperature. Then shampoo and condition using the same product from step 1 and blow-dry.

 

3. Finally, apply Formula C to dry hair and process for 20 minutes at room temperature. Finish the color using Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo and Conditioner.
