FORMULA STEPS

1. Do three back-to-back babylight weaves with Formula A around the hairline for a really bright pop. On the top section, use Formula B for even more brightness. Eric uses Wellaplex N°1 in his lightener for protection. “I love love LOVE Wellaplex,” he says. “It doesn’t slow down my process time, I don’t have to ‘bump’ my developer, and it’s specifically formulated to work with Wella color and lightener.”

2. At the bowl, apply Formula C as a root shadow. “I left out her hairline to keep the maximum brightness,” Eric said. Process for 5 minutes.

3. With Formula C still on the head, apply Formula D to the mids and ends, melting the two formulas into one another. Process for 10 minutes.

4. Eric added five custom-toned, tape-in extensions for fullness.
