Sectioning

1. Divide the left side of the head from the right, then part from the highest point of the head to the center nape and the center front.

2. With a vertical line, divide the back from the front with a parting from the highest point of the head to the back of the ear. Then do the same thing on the opposite side of the head.

Color Application

1. Starting at the nape, apply Formula A using a classic balayage technique. Then, drop down to the next section, using a bricklay pattern and apply Formula A using an ombré technique. Continue with the same method until the bottom section is complete. 

2. Drop down the top section (above the parietal ridge) and balayage using Formula A. Process to pale yellow, or up to 50 minutes. Shampoo with Redken Chemistry Extreme for dry hair.

3. Apply Formula B using a global application and process at room temperature for 20 minutes and rinse, do not shampoo. Then, on towel-dried hair, apply pH-Bonder #2 Fiber Restorative Pre-wash Concentrate for 10 minutes. Rinse and follow with Color Extend Magnetics shampoo and conditioner.
