FORMULA STEPS

1. Section the hair into three V-shaped sections in the back of the head. Take two 1/8-inch slices back-to-back and start by applying Formula B, color melting into Formula C, then finishing off the strand with Formula D. Repeat this step on each side of the head.

2. Starting at the base, bring Formula A down about 2 inches, color melting into Formula B. Continue color melting down about 1-inch into Formula E, then color melt down 3 more inches into Formula C on the ends.
