FORMULA STEPS

1. Apply Formula A to the new growth area only and drag the formula down about 2 to 3 inches, making sure it’s well saturated for even deposit.

2. Then, take ¼-inch V-shaped sections from both back quadrants and apply Formula B. Make sure Formula B softly blends into Formula A and saturate well for even lift. “I like to brush up, against the grain of the hair, to blend the line between the formulas,” shares Amanda.

3. Next, fold a foil in half diagonally from corner to corner. (This will form a V-shape in the foil to cover the V-shaped parting.) Then, place the folded foil onto the hair by lining up the V-shapes, ensuring it is close to the scalp.

4. Place an unfolded foil over the remaining exposed color, then repeat Steps 2 and 3 until the back two quadrants are complete.

5. Then, move on to the front two quadrants and use the same blending techniques on all sections until the entire head is complete. Be careful to not overlap with any previously lightened hair.

6. Process for 15 to 20 minutes without heat or until her hair reaches a Level 8. Then, shampoo and condition with NIOXIN System 3 and towel-dry the hair well.

7. Apply Formula C and process for 20 minutes without heat. Then, shampoo and condition again with NIOXIN System 3.

8. For the style, apply NIOXIN Diamax Advanced to the scalp area and massage the product into the scalp to distribute it evenly. Then, apply NIOXIN Rejuvenating Elixir through the midlengths and ends.

9. Blow-dry the hair with a round brush, then use a 1-inch curling iron to create loose waves.
