FORMULA STEPS

1. Start by giving the hair a fresh chop. For this client, Jack went with an A-line bob with layers to accentuate the new color.

2. Then, apply PRAVANA Artificial Hair Color Extractor in two rounds to help remove the artificial dye and let each one sit for 20 minutes before rinsing.

3. Taking very thin sections, apply Formula A throughout the whole head from where gray roots start to the ends and place each section in foil. Process for 4 hours.

Note: After an hour and a half, Jack opened each foil and reapplied a new mix of Formula A to any warm areas, repeating this step until the lightest pale blonde shade was reached.

4. Rinse, then pre-tone by applying Formula B and let process for 20 minutes.

5. Rinse again, blow-dry until the hair is about 70% dry and then apply Formula C all over, leaving her natural roots out. Process for 30 minutes.

6. Next, apply Olaplex No.2 and let sit for 20 minutes to reconstruct the hair.

7. Shampoo, then blow-out the hair using round brushes for max volume.
