  • Formula B (alternating panels)

    Demi-Permanent Liquid 08V + Clear

FORMULA STEPS

1. Alternate painting 1/2-inch panels with Formula A and Formula B. Fully saturate each lightened panel and isolate in foils to avoid splotchiness.

Pro Tip: After mixing lightening formulas, Farhana always adds Wella Professionals WellaPlex N°1 Bond Maker—the pH is the same as the lightener, so there’s no need to bump the developer or extend processing time. Plus, it allows the color to penetrate more easily!

2. Process for 40 minutes, then rinse. Apply Wella Professionals Service Post Color Treatment to protect and enhance the color, process for 5 minutes and rinse.

3. Apply Formula C to the roots and mids and comb through. Process for 10 minutes, then rinse.

4. Apply Formula D all over and process for 8 minutes, then rinse.

Pro Tip: Farhana recommends adding gold to enhance brightness and prevent hollow spots.

5. Apply WellaPlex N°2 Bond Stabilizer. Process for 10 minutes, condition and rinse. Farhana always recommends this treatment for her blonde clients who want to go blonder because it enhances color results and strengthens strands.

6. Trim the ends and blow-dry the hair smooth. Style using a 1.25″ Hot Tools Pro Curling Iron to create loose waves.

7. Send clients home with WellaPlex N°3 Hair Stabilizer and recommend using weekly to maintain the hair’s integrity in between color appointments.
