    Step 1
Start by sectioning hair into two orbital sections. Create a large circle on top, starting approximately 1/2” away from the front hairline and ending at the occipital bone. Isolate this section and secure. This is Block 1. The remaining hair is Block 2. Secure and cover Block 2 to protect during application
Tip: To soften the transition between the two sections, use a zig-zag line to divide them.

    Step 2
Begin on the side where your client parts her hair and place a ¼” slice onto a foil. Apply Base Formula approximately ½” away from scalp and saturate to the ends. Immediately turn the brush vertically, and blur edge of color towards scalp area. Continue to take ¼” sections and lay on previous section as a guide, until  the entire top orbital section is complete. Cover with foil. Process to level 9 (very light blonde) or desired lightness for up to a maximum of 50 minutes.

    Step 3
Rinse, then shampoo with Extreme. Dry the hair.

    Step 4
Re-section the Blocks. Apply Lowlight Formula to Block 2 (bottom). Once complete, apply Glaze Formula to Block 1 (top). Process for 20 minutes at room temperature.
Tip: To keep your work neat, place foils on top of your bottom black once the Lowlight Formula is applied to keep the two formulas isolated.

    Step 5
Rinse, then shampoo with Color Extend. Follow with a Redken Chemistry Color Extend Shot Phase. Process for 5 minutes and spray with Shot Phix 3.5 pHix pHase sealer. Rinse and condition with Color Extend.
