Inspired by superheroes, the “characters” he has created are considered to be his “Scruples Super Team,” and they all embody a new wave, punkish vibe. The hair has attitude, energy, movement and texture.

“My favorite comic book characters have powers like super speed, invisibility, the ability to teleport and other ghostly qualities,” explains Charlie. “The multiple low-opacity repeated images lend themselves well to a supernatural effect.”
