OPENING WINDOWS TO THE WORLD


With Trend Vision 2004, we gaze through windows to view rooms that afford us insight into a world full of personal emotions.  Every window shows us a new and completely individual style – natural, sensual or rebellious.  The styles reflect the responses of people to the challenges of modern existence.  With Trend Vision 2004, Wella invites stylists to open their windows wide to the world and live out the Tales of Folk, enjoy Secret Affairs, and proclaim the Urban Manifesto.


Antwerp, the fashion capital of Belgium, and the home of the celebrated fashion designer Dries van Noten, was the setting for Wella’s 2004 Trend Vision Workshop.  Top stylists from all over the world gathered in a former warehouse in the dock area to create trend-setting hairstyles, and their efforts were captured on film by the creative eye of the renowned New York photographer Darren Keith.  All of the creations were based on the mega-trends of the future, as identified by Trend-Union.
