In the world of photography, an image is captured when it is exposed to light.  This season’s Spring/Summer 2004 LightBox Collection, from Joico, is all about different sources of light.  Light reflects off everything we see.  It is the reflection that creates the image.  Every image we perceive emits light, forming an optical illusion.  Photography is based on the same premise of light reflection.  Light strikes a reflective or flat surface, then bounces back to give the impression of dimension and color.
 
Joico’s hair coloring concept is inspired by this method of creating reflection and dimension utilizing various stages of light and contrasting color, just as a photographer experiments with different lighting techniques to create sharp detail or soft exposure.  The same concept is used with these color combinations-all three of the Joico LightBox color techniques-Flash, Solar and UV, are derived from only eight VeroColor shades.
