The haircolorxperts’ new collection gravitates toward a whole new energy.

The trend toward disconnected cuts for women, longer looks for men and fourth-dimensional color adds up to a galaxian leap at haricolorxperts salons, where Director of Artistic Education Marsha Cole went beyond a world-view to create a style collection that’s out of this world. Naturally, the looks and the techniques can be toned-down for the earth bound, inspiring a small universe of stellar ideas.

For dramatic results in nano time, the techniques used to achieve the looks are set out in easy-to-learn modules. Named for planets of the solar system, the cut-and-color designs follow a simple plan that’s the genesis of a whole new take on style evolution.

Venus fuses four disconnected pieces that create an illusion of front length with solar-flare shades of orange and blonde. The bob shape in back gives nod to early style-exploration. Saturn style combines front fragments with edge-of-the-universe coloring, where black meets blonde at a vertical horizon. Taking its inspiration from the Roman god of travel’s wings, Mercury is cut for a shag-on-gravity look, with obvious blunt sections in front and earth-mined shades of gold and copper. Ribbon-cut texture inspires Mars, which naturally flares in red, while Jupiter includes a crown anyone can calm down. Finally, the big bang for modern men comes from obvious color and new, longer lengths in Neptune.

All hairdressers at haircolorxperts have received extensive training in the techniques featured in the Galaxy collection and continue to fine tune their skills through in-salon classes from the haircolorxperts International Artistic Team, educational DVDs, hairstylist/client flip charts, and classes provided by Wella. What’s more, clients can “try on” a style from the collection, thanks to CyberImaging by haircolorxperts.
