Some of Thailand’s most talented stylists offered up some of the most fantastical work we’ve ever seen with the help of L’Oréal Professionnel. At the Bangkok International Fashion Week 2008 at the Siam Paragon, L’Oréal Professionnel Thailand released their Spring/Summer Collection to a delighted crowd.

The breathtaking display was more like a theater or cirque performance, complete with dancers, acrobats and dramatic costumes. The “Extravaganza” show certainly lived up to its name. But, the amazing display offered more than just simple entertainment; inspiration and fantasy were abound at the show, giving every attendee something to walk away with.

L’Oréal Professionnel Creative Director Somporn Tirin took hair to new levels, creating expertly sculpted, surprising looks like ‘conjoined’ twins, amazing top hats, exotic birds, sleek topknots and fun poofs.  His segment of the show truly was an escape from reality and a journey through a surreal dream world of childhood. 

After the mind-boggling, bright fantasy from Tirin, L’Oréal Professionnel Master Ambassador Saisuda Chuaviwat brought the crowd to an entirely new place.  She moved away from the festive, circus atmosphere created dramatically soft, voluminous styles atop classic ballerinas and seductive, wavy lengths on black-clad dominatrixes. 

The show changed once again to reveal once again bright, modern pops of color in both hair and wardrobe, perfectly embodying the theme of Bangkok International Fashion Week 2008.  It was another awe-inspiring display of artistic vision and expert technical know-how, aided by top quality product and support – proof that Thailand is rapidly growing a reputation as a true international fashion hub.
