Preview Goldwell’s Trend Zoom 2005

During the 2004 Goldwell Educator Symposium held in Las Vegas attendees got a sneak peek at the European created Trend Zoom 2005 Collection which featured exclusive colors, cutting and styling techniques that range from sensual to wild. Trend Zoom 2005, which is based on global trends in fashion, society, hair and makeup, introduces three distinct worlds: Ethic Flow, Graphic Twist and Wild Deluxe.

“The looks in this collection are extremely versatile,” says Joan Novak, Goldwell guest artist. “They can work with all clients, both male and female. You can kick them up a notch for your progressive clients or tame them down for those who are more conservative.”

Ethic Flow is described as natural, essential and comfortable. A person looking for Ethic Flow is someone who focuses on everything that is essential and real. The looks reflect nature. Warm and cool shades merge in natural harmony. The hair softly frames the face and transmits a feeling of protection.

Graphic Twist is expressive, exceptional and high-contrast. This world is for someone who has the courage to be different in character and personality. Clear, strong colors, geometric patterns and surfaces create the new Graphic Twist look.

Wild Deluxe is sophisticated, individual and exotic. Wild Deluxe is for the individual who is looking to spice up their everyday life with exotic influences and mystery. The cuts are rich in contrast, colors are soft and the look combines untamed wildness with sophisticated luxury.

Trend Zoom 2005 is about making hair come to life,” says Kevin Cameron, brand communications manager of KPSS GmbH. “This trend expresses itself not only in fashion, but particularly in what is closest to us — our hair. Hairstyles are more than anything else a reflection of our mood and our lifestyle. In 2005, our focus is on the education component and on providing detailed information on the cutting and coloring techniques used.”
