As one of the winners of the 2010 JPMS Photo Shoot Competition, Martin Emmenegger from Switzerland was recently flown to Los Angeles to bring his entry’s creative idea to life, working with JPMS Editorial Director/NAHA winner Lucie Doughty and a team consisting of a top editorial photographer, makeup artist, and wardrobe stylist.

Martin’s collection is inspired by the easy, breezy feel of being on holidays, which he reflects with the movement of hair and the model’s poses.

Martin submitted his portfolio entry highlighting his top cuts, color and styles of his career, along with brainstormed inspiration boards for his dream editorial shoot for the judges’ consideration. At the recent photo shoot, judge and mentor Doughty coached Martin through the process of putting together an editorial quality photo shoot based on his inspiration.

“I really enjoyed the shoot and working with a whole team. I think I have never learned more in two days—such a unique experience.”
