L’Oréal Professionnel’s Vintage AmberFall/Winter 2004 Color Collection

With passion and dedication to the beauty industry, L’Oréal Professionnel shares its latest trend and fashion forecasts…Fall/Winter 2004 Color Collection, “Vintage Amber.”

For centuries, the origin of Amber has been quite a mystery.  Amber is the result of the slow transformation of tree resins.  When observed, Amber can be considered a window of the past because of its pleasant touch, lightness and numerous shapes and shades.  The history of the formation of Amber and the secrets it holds are only the beginning of this season’s Fall/Winter Color Collection.

The sources of inspiration are a mix of elegance, sophistication and sensuality.

Three trends inspired L’Oréal Professionnel to create Vintage Amber:  Intimacy, Reserved by Nature and Boudoir Glamour.  Together, these themes blend to evoke an aura of intimacy that is parallel to the mysterious phenomenon of Amber.

Dedicated to servicing the industry with the most advanced technologies and newest trends,
L’Oréal Professionnel is proud to be represented in Paris by Sr. Portfolio Artist, Jo Blackwell and Portfolio Artist, Rodney Hicks to create their interpretation of this season’s Color Collection, “Vintage Amber.

Inspired by the mystique of L’Oréal Professionnel’s Vintage Amber, Jo and Rodney’s vision was to recreate the sensual romantic 70’s look influenced by American fashion designer, Roy Halston.   “Today’s trend for hair looks sexier than ever with a sense of old world European glamour mixed with American chic fashion,” explains Jo, “and as a result, we created a voluptuous look with warm cognac blonde tones on our Boudoir Glamour model.”  Rodney then created layers of soft, loose, romantic curls to accentuate the rich colors on  the Parisian, Soho-chic looking model.  Rodney says, “This designer blonde hairstyle is subdued yet sexy and so versatile that our model can wear her hair up in a chignon or down and loose, looking absolutely radiant!”
