Intercoiffure Mondial “Sydney Streets” Collection

Sydney is provocative, casual, mystic, sun-blessed and vital.  The multi-cultural coastal metropolis has long been the secret capital of Australia.  The Beauty by the Pacific evolves more and more into the “Down Under” Manhattan.

Sydney Streets is Intercoiffure Mondial’s latest hair collection for 2008; these exclusive looks are as exciting, accomplished and instinctive as the beautiful metropolis itself.  The photo shoot took place in front of Sydney’s Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and the trendy district “The Rocks” and shows hair creations which take themselves on a tour through time.

The waves á la Greta Garbo remind of the Golden Twenties. In the 40s, Veronica Lake bewitched with androgynous strictness. Dramatic changes took place in the 50s: rock’n’roll was born and icons like Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly set the trends. Marilyn Monroe inspired the natural look of goddesses. The 60s were determined by hippies with long, soft natural hair and later by Pop Art Power. All of the Sydney Streets styles are clearly modernistic, mixing global glamour and retro cuts. Trends of a boomtown.
