Straight from the mainstage at Salon International to you… Vidal Sassoon’s Vamp!

This brand new collection from Vidal Sassoon revives the art of seduction. There is a new spirit in the air, a return to powerful glamour and sophistication after a summer dominated by the soft femininity of Boho style. Vamps are enchantresses of men, seductive and mysterious, glamorous femmes fatales garbed in the deepest black which becomes a powerful statement in its stark simplicity.

Strong fringes with crafted lines are softened with wispy tendrils or chic veils of hair which combine both short and long lengths creating versatile shapes that can be at once sharp and strong or soft and seductive. Shades of chestnut, dark coffee and soft bronze seem warm and inviting, but when mixed with frosty blues, navy and eau de nil show the ice maiden beneath, coolly in control.

To illustrate this new mood in hair, this DVD contains two new cutting and coloring techniques developed by the International Creative Team at the world renowned Advanced Academy London. “This collection is about fit, cut and tailoring and creating a dramatic feeling with the contrast between sleek and textured hair”, says Mark Hayes | UK Creative Director.

“Color curves round the head sculpturally shaping the cuts into a series of arctic arabesques, dramatic color for dramatic cuts”, says Annie Humphreys | International Color Director.

As International Creative Director | Tim Hartley puts it, “this season is all about ‘making bold shapes new’ and creating a body packaging as evocative and sleekly sexy as the body (may be) beneath!”
