Inspired by the fashion runways of the world, L’Oréal Professionnel is proud to share its latest design trend and fashion forecast with its Spring/Summer 2006 Color Collection, “Geometric Colors.”

Click on the individual images for details on each look.

Each season, L’Oréal Professionnel looks forward to bringing style, color and fashion from runways around the globe into the salons of the world’s greatest hairstylists.  This season, two major trends emerged from the runways – Graphic Icon and Active Pop, which make up the Geometric Colors Collection. Each trend showcases graphic shapes, bright colors and a strong attitude.

The provocative hairstyles that make up the “Geometric Colors” collection have been created by world-renowned studio stylist Diego Da Silva who began his career assisting Odile Gilbert. He has worked with some of the greatest names in fashion, including Lagerfeld, Missoni, Chanel, Gaultier and many more. Whether they are part of a static pose or a dynamic movement, his styles instantly evoke rigor and boldness.

The Graphic Icon trend is synonymous with the spirit of the Majirel woman: strong and glamorous with an effortless air of perfection. The Graphic Icon look is structured and architectural with touches of exotic, primitive energy, mod sophistication, and ethereal sculpture.

The three looks which make up the Graphic Icon vision are: Techno-Mod, Sculptural Glamour, and Exotic Chic

A brave new world of color defines the Active Pop trend. This Spring, Luocolor opens the door to an energy-packed world splashed with tangy colors, cartoon-like shapes and bold patterns. Styles are graphic and stand out in perfectly strong and simple contrasts like silk-screened Warhol superstars. Daring, bright and beautiful…a brave new world of color.

The three looks which make up the Active Pop vision are: Pop-Art, Retro-Fiction, & Neo-Sport.
