Franco Alternative

Created by Franco Della Grazia of Franco & Co. for the 2003 Alternative Hair Show in London.


The collection is called The Outsiders. The inspiration came from a famous Australian performance artist by the name of Leigh Bowery who, sadly, died of Aids but inspired a generation of artists.


Boy George did a stage show in New York based on a club that Leigh ran.  Not surprisingly, Boy George has also been seen dressing up like Leigh.


Imagination is a wonderful thing.
