These are massive revolutions in hairdressing—upheavals of epic proportion. A completely new silhouette; a newly imagined texture like raffia or moss. And then there are the quieter rebellions. A tag of sorts, like graffiti left in the night. A quickly chipped fringe. Glossy lengths hastily crimped. A sly undercut. Rebellion can be in your face or it can be stealthy—sneaking up before anyone knows what happened. In the long run, sometimes the effects of the peptit révolution are the most enduring of all.
