Endangered Species

Unmistakable and rare, a true red is a sight to behold. Bold, vibrant and often accompanied by a liberal sprinkling of freckles, redheads inspire awe and mystery. At one point, scientists believed the redhead would eventually become extinct. But happily, the misperception has been corrected. The red-haired gene is here to stay—elusive yet more vibrant than any color created from a bottle or tube when it ultimately chooses to display itself.
