Darren and Jackie Ambrose, the creative force behind the looks at D&J Ambrose, presented two collections for 2005-2006 at Salon International in London this October.  London 2005/06 features vibrant, livable hairstyles and colors, with plenty of movement and shine.  Avant Garde 2005/06 splices color and textures, mixing traditional shapes with edgy details and prismatic colors. 

Darren Ambrose opened his salon in London, with his wife Jackie, in November 1996. Since that time his name has become synonymous with creativity, style and professionalism. Listed in the The Independent’s “50 Best Places to Get a Haircut in Britain” the salon offers cutting edge style, color and glamour.

Darren’s special brand of up-to-the-minute styling expertise combines all that is new and fresh in hairdressing which means his work and hair care advice has been featured in top consumer magazines including Hello; Neon; Vivid; Cosmopolitan; Company; Looks; New Woman and Vogue. His innovative avant garde collections have been published in the leading trade magazines all around the world.

Well known on the international show and seminar circuit, Darren has worked across the globe and appeared at Hair Expo in Australia in March 2005. A member of the Fellowship of British Hairdressing, Darren has been nominated for Gold Salon Award and Avant Garde Image of the Year. He also received an industry accolade by being made a Fellow with Honors in December 2004.
