What happens when you get three outstanding Shear Genius Season 2 alums in a giant think tank?  You get an outstanding and clever collection, that’s what.  Charlie Price, Meredith Spiros and Glenn Mitchell joined forces to create the Carnival collection.  The inspiration: 1980s fashion photographer Sheila Metzner’s use of classic hair and makeup plus iconic Italian architect Ettore Sottsass’s Memphis furniture movement.

For their collaborative effort, the trio used synthetic wigs.  They paired Styrofoam forms that had been encased in Mod Podge and a variety of fishnets to create this graphic, finished look.  A-frame, tent-like gray dresses were used to create an overall Eighties New Wave video motif.
