Watching Season 2 of Shear Genius has been a blast, but if it wasn’t for the salon furnishing company Belvedere, who knows what the set would look like!

Being a new season with a new look and a new cast, the Shear Genius set was in need of some innovative equipment and Belvedere came to the rescue.  After receiving a number of recommendations from beauty industry bigwigs, the set designer for Shear Genius Season 2 met with a Belvedere Designer at the Belvedere Design Studio Showroom in Orange, CA.  Since this dynamic duo only had five days to transform a soundstage into a salon it was a match made in heaven!

Five days really doesn’t sound like that much time, but since Belvedere has ten showrooms in the United States and Canada, the set designer was able to make decisions on the spot by actually seeing the salon furnishings up close and personal.  That’s the advantage Belvedere has over other companies; you can stroll right in, sit in some chairs, stand at the color bars and test the casters on a number of rollabouts.  You have to test it to love it!

Belvedere features a total of 10 design centers and showrooms throughout the U.S. and Canada.  Each showroom features a full service design center as well as a full complement of furniture to choose from.  Once a salon owner has an idea on the type of furniture they would like, they are able to sit down with a professional and make decisions on colors, overall look, floor layout and style.  Belvedere can finish up the whole process by providing you with drawings that will help get your dream rolling.
