Where do the cool kids show off their talent and make their head honcho proud? ARROJO Underground of course. This past Sunday, the ARROJO staff, all the way from assistants to students to master stylists, came together for the annual presentation of trends and inspiration for the year ahead. Presenting to a “standing room only” crowd of 100 clients, friends, fans and ambassadors, the 18 presentations in total over the course of an hour and a half impressed Nick like no other. Everyone was responsible for their own model call, clothing, AV and styling for their 3-5 minute time slot and had only two weeks to pull everything together. Even though some stylists presented solo work, a majority of the presentations were group efforts with each member having the responsibility and pleasure of styling one to three models.

Now, you’re probably wondering if Nick had a favorite group or presentation, but that’s not the case. He was incredibly impressed, especially with the young assistants and stylists who were given free reign to be their own creative directors which isn’t an opportunity that happens often. Even the cosmetology students had the chance to present a few models! Tear jerker moment of the night had to be when one of the assistants Marisa said (with a tear in her eye) that she watched Underground from the crowd last year and how incredible it felt to be on stage presenting this year.
