Wella Professionals Announces Three New Launches
The future is looking brighter than ever for Wella Professionals as the giant hair brand announced the launch of two new color products to its ever expanding portfolio, along with a revolutionary new hair care range at an intimate preview event in New York.
First up, Wella Professionals Top Artists, Aubrey Loots and Andy LeCompte joined P&G Senior Scientist, Sarah Vickery on stage to introduce Elements, a breakthrough hair care line that promises to exceed clients’ wildest expectations by protecting, moisturizing and cleansing the hair like no other. Consisting of four products—shampoo, conditioner, masque and leave-in spray—the products are entirely free of sulphates, parabens and artificial colorants, but the best bit is that they provide up to 10 times more keratin protection than other leading ranges, for renewed hair vitality.
Celebrity stylist Andy LeCompte assures your clients won’t be disappointed. “Elements is my go to care line for clients who want stronger, smoother, softer and shinier strands but also the ones who are ingredient conscious. Having as few chemicals as possible in hair products is more than just a trend for my clients; it’s about a purer lifestyle.”
Retailing at $22 each, Elements launches in salons in January 2015.
But that’s not where the excitement stops, as Top Artist’s Alexandra Matiz and Eric Lindsay arrived to talk about the brand’s new color launches scheduled for March next year.
Responding to the fact that the hottest trend in lightening clients’ hair is less about bold, solid colors and more about refined natural tones, painted freely onto the hair using techniques such as balayage, Wella Professionals introduces Blondor Freelights, a color system specifically developed for hair painting, without the use of foils. Watch out, for 2015 blonde is back, brighter, lighter and better than ever. Bravo!
Last but definitely not least, Alexandra invited us into the amazingly colorful world of Instamatic by Color Touch, a new wave of on-trend shades that add a soft muted color to hair.
From bold bright beginnings a la Katy Perry, evolving to softer diluted tones, fashion-forward hair color has become one of the most talked about trends on runways and the red carpet. Predicting this journey ahead of time, Wella Professionals brings you a demi-permenant color range to satisfy style-savvy clients.
Temporary and gentle, Instamatic by Color Touch Matte Gloss Service uses six soft pastel shades including Pink Dream, Jaded Mint and Smokey Amethyst, to achieve a diffused color finish with muted shine, allowing clients to change up their look as often as they like.
Instamatic launches in March 2015. For more information visit www.wellausa.com.
